Fanø the holiday island in the North Sea

Fanø is an island which offers many activities and adventures.

There are newly-established outdoor and indoor tennis courts close to the golf course.

For the children, there is an indoor swimming pool in the immediate vicinity of the golf course, and here there is also a squash court and a fitness room.


For horseback riders, there are many possibilities of renting horses and riding on the beach, on the moors, or in the woods.

Fanø is also well-known for its church concerts, with international artists.

The idyllic old villages of Nordby and Sønderho have been preserved from the days when Fanø had the second biggest merchant fleet in Denmark.


But, above all, there is the North Sea, both for those who love to sport in the waves, and for those who enjoy walking along the beach in the healthy sea air and who, perhaps, may find some of the amber for which Fanø is famous.
